Double Ringer
Original price was: $19.99.$15.99Current price is: $15.99.
Bright colors, quick assembly time and unique gliders make the Double Ringer a must-have, cool science kit. In 30 minutes or less, budding rocketeers can glue together the plastic fin unit and cut out the gliders. After the launch, the rocket returns to earth on its 15 inch parachute while the gliders descend gently back down to the ground.
What better way to get kids interested in rocket science than with the coolest, most colorful rocket in town! The Double Ringer, named after its unique gliders, is an easy-to-build beginner rocket . Once the fin unit is glued together and the main rocket is intact, a pair of scissors and a bit of glue is all that is needed to ready this rocket for the launch field.
Using an Estes Porta-Pad II launch system and powered by a C6-3 engine (both sold separately), this two-foot tall rocket can reach 500 feet in the air. Kids can easily retrieve the bright orange and yellow rocket parts and race back to the launch site for additional flights (and fun!).
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, ruler, fine sandpaper, plastic cement, masking tape and clear tape. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
