Checkmate

SO MUCH FUN having a rocket that launches SO HIGH on mini engines!
Booster engines push this rocket over 900 feet and is a pretty simple build.
Featuring a unique, highly swept nested fin design, keep your eyes on this one as you can easily reach 900 feet! Single stage or 2-stage, this rocket soars! An Advanced build makes it a great choice for someone just getting started with boosted rockets, who is already accustomed to common rocket building tasks.
The Checkmate launches on mini engines (sold separately) and recovery is streamer for the rocket and tumble for the booster. Prepare for re-launch with a new Estes engine, wadding, a starter and starter plug.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, clear coat, primer (white), paint (black, blue, yellow) and clear coat (optional). (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
